[Jacob-list] Dates

Last year I ran Shetlands with my Jacobs, and was very tied to the "shetland" schedule for seperating rams & ewes & whatnot.  Now that we're Exclusively Jacob, I'm wondering if I need to seperate them as early as I did last year (Aug 1).  My general plan was to seperate them on Sept 1, bring the breeding partners together Oct 31, and reunite everone again on December 21.  Does that reasonable?
