Mary Ellen left here about noon today after dropping off Rockies 
Sophia.  Her fleece, (Sophia's) while not great, is hardly the tomato 
mulch wool I'd expected.  While on the coarse side of medium, it does 
have some crimp and is relatively free of kemp. Her horns are lovely 
and her voice is quite awful!  Mary Ellen says not to worry, she only 
baas when she's in heat, pregnant, nursing a lamb, or has weaned a 
lamb within the last 4 months.  (that's poetic license and not 
verbatim what ME said - she just mentioned that she does baa alot and 
loudly.) Groucho is already making eyes at her across the fence.

It's really exciting to hear about all the wonderful new bloodlines 
coming into the SE this year.  I know alot of people have been 
working hard to coordinate deliveries.  I think this sort of working 
together to get sheep from here to there and vice versa does a real 
service to the conservation of the Jacob.  So my thanks.
