We'll be sending a couple of ram lambs to the butcher soon. I want to
tan the skins myself, keeping the wool long; they've never been shorn.
I've read about tanning in various books and websites, but wondered if
anyone had personal experiences to share? A lot of times, there are some
simple tricks that you learn from experience that never make it into
print.
