[Jacob-list] Apple Pressings as Feed

I made my first batch of wine for 2000 this week, crushing 36 pounds of
Gala apples and processing them in the primary fermenter. Last night, I
siphoned off the liquid into the secondary fermenter and pressed the
apple bits to get any residual juice out of them.

I was going to feed the pressings to the sheep but worried that all that
active yeast might upset their stomachs. Does anyone have any input on
that?
