[AGL] influx of homeless

Around the main library on Guadaloupe & 8th st I have been noticing an
increased number of homeless, many of them sleeping on the sidewalks.
And this morning around 8am, just downstairs, San Antonio between
6th & 7th st,  I saw a food truck dispensing groceries to a long line of 
men,
the truck being an outreach of a local catholic parish.

And on the local TV news last nite there was a report on the recent influx
of homeless to Austin and efforts by the police and others to render help.

So I took pics of the truck and line of men which I attach.

Interestingly the ethnic makeup of the men was predominantly white
with a few blacks. This factoid may reflect the wave of heroin and
painkiller addiction sweeping the nation also being reported on the
news.
