To the other list, I posted a suggestion in desperation, that someone start a really sordid and ridicuous rumor about Palin and McCain, and send it out via email with the title "You have to read this".  Similar to the apparently efficacious email sent out that Obama is a Muslim.

McCain is going to win easily. But he's a tough

We are now living in the early years of
the long goingdown  of the American Empire
which finds itself engaged in endless unwinable
wars much like the Roman Empire. The latter
empire took a long time to tumble so at our age we
have the good luck to be at the beginning of
the untergang of the empire we lived our life
in.
