[AGL] 2 german films

Michael, John and I have enjoyed watching a german film "Schultze gets the 
blues'  We also liked 'Goodbye to Lenin" an East German film.  The films were 
totally different but we liked them in the same way.  Both were written by the 
director. One director was just starting out but the other had been making 
films for a long long time but both were fresh and appealing.  You will enjoy 
the gate keeper in "Schultze..." sort of reminds you of a more famous 
classical transporter of souls.  In fact a bit of Schultze transcends into 
that world at the end.  As usual in small movies the acting is great and the 
filming is very careful and beautiful like a lot of 50's & 60's japanese 
films. I think you will like it.  "Goodbye to Lenin" is wonderful.
