I dont understand what you are asking me about. Israel? The West Bank? The 
Gaza Strip?

The Israeli settlements with a total of 7000 settlers in the Gaza Strip were 
evacuated a year ago by Sharon. The current Prime Minister, Olmert, got 
elected by promising to remove 70 Israeli settlements from the West Bank. 
That has been put on hold indefinitely because it would be too dangerous..

If you want to know what the Israel viewpoint is I recommend you read 
Haaretz in English, the newspaper, which is on line at 
http://www.haaretz.com

As for Ramsey i am aware that he hates the jooz, including me, presumably he 
learnt that from his parents. Like his brother Lanny only a little less so.

I havent read his book and i cant imagine what Carter means by apartheid. 
There are 5 million Israeli jews, 1 and a half million Israeli Moslems, 
Christians and Druse. There are about 250,000 Israelis living in settlements 
in the West Bank. Everyone now realizes it was a big mistake to establish 
settlements in the West Bank after the 1967 war.
