[AGL] Help! I need to find a needle in a haystack...

I recently read an article by someone who had decided to take AmTrak for a family vacation, instead of driving or flying. It was a Texas family and they went to Chicago or some far flung place outta state. The trip was fraught with delays and scheduling glitches that resulted in a nine hour trip between Austin and Dallas. This was because freight trains pay better than people, and so they take prescedence over passenger trains. I can't remember where I read it--which newspaper or magazine. I really want to find it and don't have LexusNexus.
  Any ideas how I can locate it?
