Or better yet, move to London or New York where one can simply take the 
metro/subway/underground.

Or somewhere camels or rickshaws are available.  Rickshaws are especially 
popular among the aging white upper class tourist mode.

Or simply have one of the servants do the shopping, working, commuting, 
soccer mommying and limit one's social and/or economic efforts to leisurely 
strolls down to Starbucks and following one's stocks and bonds via the 
InterNet whilst listening to New Age music and sipping a double latte.

Or retire from life and live on one's wife's income and/or inheritance 
monies. So much more refined than grubbing around for filthy lucre by 
actually being employed and so much more elegant than being trapped in four 
hour commutes.

Or just withdraw from any "unpleasant political action" and make pious 
and/or impractical suggestions.
