diane (pronounced dion) had two daughters, doon and amy. amy was not
staff at the village voice, but free lance. she is a fine photographer,
tho she doesn't have her mother's fascination w/the shocking.
doon has long been richard avedon's associate and put together the text
for his book on the 60s.
the big show which is traveling now (i'm not sure if it is the one in
houston now since there is another one that was here recently) has many
previously unseen images. i hear it is spectacular.
