This was sent to me by a trusted friend:
"I am so sorry to send this on but I have this from a close friend of a
member of the staff at the governor's mansion. The staff person, being
a staunch Democrat and having opinions he would rather not be known to
have, would love to have the rumors be true, but does not believe they
are. According to him, the Perry's have been heard and seen laughing
together about the whole thing and do not seem in the least upset about
it."
That does not sound like Anita eye-witnessed anything. Oh, well, I'll hold on spreading the rumors unless more evidence emerges. Maybe the Perry's were acting for the benefit of the staff, or the staff member may be counter-rumoring--my fingers are crossed.
