CaveTex: Whereabouts of Bill Helmer

Folks-
When and where is the caver reunion this weekend? Upon my=20
return to residence in Austin in 1991, I naively enquired about
directions to the little, local "starter cave" and sinkhole we used
to call Deaddog Cave. I was told that thanks to the booming=20
"New Austin" economy, it was under the parking lot of the Luby's
cafeteria at Steck and MOPAC. That one fact pretty well brought
me up to date about Austin and its politics ... and brought tears to=20
my eyes.

Helmer has been seriously ill for a number of years and is very =
