Actually even our old Pal Vennell made 2nd Lt (Army), Gerry was in the USAF;
I think Charlie was also USAF and an NCO in an intelligence unit. I do not
know about George's status, but it sounds right to me. And You, Pvt Mike!
Wow, another trained killer for Uncle Sam. The enemy quakes at the prospect
of facing warriors like us.
But I was not trying to make a point about members of our list...only the
tone of the rhetoric which sometimes seems more condemning of our own
military than of the terrorism itself.
I think my metaphor holds....'Military' equals firemen or police on a more
grand scale. 'They' are us.
