Hi Carter,

We don't currently have a naming convention to the device. I will let you know if we can decide on one.

Thanks
Ming

Hey Ming,
In the routine ArgusGetInterfaceStatus(), we have exceptions for interfaces
that don’t support ioctl() checking of interface status. The interface
names “dag”, “napa”, “dna”, “zc” and others have to be ‘faked out’.

Does your pseudo device have a name ??? We’ll put it in the routine exception list.
Carter

I have to fool the argus to believe that the interface is OK by create a bridge interface and name it the same as the special device presented in PCAP. However, it would be nice have option to disable Argus interface checking code.
