Hardware specs?

Thank you everyone, that's all useful information.  I think I'm going
to start with a machine that has 4 cores with 16 GB memory and
100 GB of SAS storage.

Carter, it's very cool that others at Stanford are also starting to
use this software.  I'm good friends with Joe, who contacted me about
the query forwarded to him. He's already let me know what this dept is
using, so thank you for mentioning it.
