Ooooooops,
You are correct and the fix I put in fixed days, weeks, months and years, and may have broken hours, min and seconds.
I'm on the road again, but will fix it tonight!

I thought the -M time 5m would write a file for every five minutes, so
I'd have a directory like this:

core.2009.04.07.08.00.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.05.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.10.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.15.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.20.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.25.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.30.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.35.00.argus
core.2009.04.07.08.40.00.argus

etc

if I remove the %S I get this:

./core.2009.04.07.08.01.argus
./core.2009.04.07.08.02.argus
./core.2009.04.07.08.03.argus
./core.2009.04.07.08.04.argus
./core.2009.04.07.08.05.argus
etc
