argus memory issues

	Hmmm, perhaps there is an endian issue then? Mine on a PPC machine (as
noted) with no .threads running on a link that has been peaking at about 100 
megs today is still using around 370 megs of memory:

	This is the same link where earlier versions were getting up to 4 gigs
(the total memory in the machine). 
	When you send it a HUP it dumps memory stats to stdout. That may tell
Carter if there is something odd going on. Carter was also going to modify the
man record output to dump the same stats in the man records (although I don't
think thats done yet).
