problem with datafile size (argus 2.0.3)

Greetings, Argus team.

Problem: ra* programs die with Segmentation fault if datafile size > 35100K.

What are possible cause of this?

Argus is running on RedHat Linux 6.2 kernel 2.2.14 and RH Linux 7.1
kernel 2.4.2-2 boxes.

We use rpm distribution of Argus, because source compiles, but
program does not write anything to its datafile.
(maybe because configure script can't find sys/sockio.h sys/ioccom.h ?)
