I would like to suggest that the transport operators, in order that they do not inconvenience commuters, scrap the tedious claim process and program their computers to have the refunds credited automatically to the ez-link cards.

There should be no problem in doing this.

The London cab service here will be extended for one more year following feedback from wheelchair users and their associations, acting minister for community development, youth and sports Chan Chun Sing announced on Thursday.

Mr Chan said the Land Transport Authority, other government ministries and the London cab operator SMRT will review other solutions in the meantime.
