<p>Dear retro friends,</p>
<p>The chess column of the <em data-start="24" data-end="45">Stuttgarter
Zeitung</em> (run by Harald Keilhack) has published a set of
retro chess puzzles. </p>
<p><span data-start="49" data-end="90">In the sign of the retracting
a move</span>, this year's Christmas puzzles are presented, as
always, compiled by Werner Keym.<br data-start="172"
data-end="175">
By retracting a move, chess men that have already been captured
can come back to life, and if necessary, a (pawn's) promotion can
be reversed.<br data-start="320" data-end="323">
As usual, it should always be checked whether there are multiple
solutions. The solution will be published in next week's edition
of the newspaper.</p>
