Hello,

the theme of the retro composition tournament for Messigny 2011 is :

Umnov : a move is made on the square that is freed by the previous
move.

Examples :

PDB P1068642 : the 3 first moves of the wRh1 are thematic
PDB P1004471 : the last 20 single moves are thematic

With any black moves, the following contains 7 thematic moves :
1.d3 ~ 2.Bd2 ~ 3.Qc1 ~ 4.Kd1 ~ 5.Be1 ~ 6.Nd2 ~ 7.Qb1 ~ 8.Kc1

In the judgement, quality is more important than quantity.
