CD which works with Vista and Windows 7   for US$20. + postage.
 
I am not sure if it the same as the expensive one you bought for your 92 R  
129 but it seems to be good for my 1990 R129.

Some time ago,  bought a workshop manual on CD  for my 1992 (mfd. in  '91) 
500SL.  It was quite expensive as I  remember but very helpful.   While I 
still have the car, my old  computer died and has now been  replaced.  The 
OS of 
my old  computer was XP or possibly something  earlier- I can't remember.   
My 
new computer has Vista Home Premium and  the CD will not open so  I'm 
struck 
with a potentially very desireable, but now  useless  CD.  My question is 
twofold-  can the CD be modified so as  to  be useful with VIsta, or 
failing 
that, is there an updated R129  workshop manual  that I can use with Vista?

At least  you must remove the arcobatreader what is on the vista 
computer,or disconnect  it from the files. You must install and use the adobe 5.0 
reader what is on  the cd. And also install the program what cracks  the dealer 
code. I  cannot believe that the IP browser is the issue, Vista should be 
working while  the cd operates on internet browser technolegie combined with

R129 Fans -

Can anyone tell me  how to remove the plastic lower cover on the outside of
the door on my 2000  SL500 Sport?  I need to access the two adjustment holes
in the door to  move the power window inward to make a tighter  seal.
