[R129 SL] electric diagram R129 and fuses

Simpley replace the fuses is the cheapest and easeyest way.
Off course you can replace them with new versions but then you must replace
the complete fusebox, what is very diffecult and riskey.
Maybey mercedes have a simulair box in the latest versions of the R129 say
over 2000?
Maybey some owners can check and give you the answer.
 
Replace them with glasfiited fuses could be an solution but the form from
the fuses is wrong and gives also malfunctions,
 
Make an substitue with small japanese fuses and silvered contacts clamped
between the original clamps is a good solution.
But that takes professional appearances and is not to do for hobbyist, but
maybe some chinese fusefactory sees a market for it.

I am also a member of R129 fan club and read some of your comments in a US
one.
My name is Denis Gautier and live in the south west of France (Cahors to be
accurate)
My car is an R129060 - or SL300 - from 1990 with 120000 km
It works fine and I love it, except ......... a lot of small electrical
problems.
Every time i drive it, and this is quite often, I don't feel fully confident
because some warnings lights are coming up, some equipments are not fully
operational.
And thiese troubles are only generated from electrical sources 
Obviously,I checked and cleaned the fuses and contact. Most of disfunctions
have disappeared after that.
 
Can we find somewhere a more reliable substitute for replacing this bad fuse
boxes eg with flat modern fuse that are quite common now?
 
I also see you propose electric diagrams and I you accept it, so I would be
more than interested to get them
