[R129 SL] automatic gear oil measurement and bad starting

Dear Folks.

Last week I discover exactly how to measure the oil level in the
automatic gear.
My gearbox specialist told me exactly how to do and why.

Always take a measurement with running engine !!
That's because the oil pump must fill the power converter with oil.
If you don't run the engine , the oil is come out the power converter
and filled up the gearbox, so much that the oil level
with cold en no running engine is standing more than 2 inches above the
top level.
So I understand that I always thought there was to much oil in the
system, but it was to less !!!.

If the engine is running al the oil is in that place it should be.
With a cold running engine it should be a quart inch below the minus
mark, and with a running hot motor it should be at the top
maximum level , or prefer a quart inch above.

It is better for the pump to have always oil, and even when the car
drops into a hole in the road, and the pump takes air.
When the pump takes air the oil begins to foam and give more heat, with
result more foam and heat, etc.etc.

Then every time a start my 500 119 engine at the first start, it starts
at first seconds of firing.
No matter if it stands still for one day or two weeks.
If I start a second time , no issue how long after the first time, but
within two minutes, its also starts by first firing.
But when my car is leaved alone for say one hour , it is very difficult
to start the engine. I must start two or three times ore one salvo from
say 20-30 seconds to start up the engine.
When a wait several hours there is no problem.
I think that maybe the distributor caps and rotors are the reason.
Maybe there become some moister inside that disappears after a while?
Has somebody experience?
Can I first clean the distributercap and rotor? Or should I simply
replace both for new?
