[R129 SL] Hydraulic Cylinders

This is a common problem. Never heard of a R129 that has not had that leaking convertible hydraulic problem. Anyway, you can fix it yourself...no need to bleed the system....all the info you need is here...

      Not sure what you mean by front or rear cylinders.  The leaky one is the main lifting cylinder for the right side of the convertible top.  It is located in the top well, close to the right rear door pillar.  The fluid leaks out onto garage floor from the RR fender opening, ahead of the wheel.
