[R129 SL] TOP PROBLEM

Have a 1995 SL320 and both pistons in the roof above the windshield are 
broken as apparently I put the roof on crooked.  My mechanic friend says he 
cannot find the part.  Does anyone know a good resource to obtain parts?  
either a salvage yard, a store that sells reconditioned or anything else.
