Can any second that opinion?
Is the only answer to buy a DVD player for my PC computer?

Everyone seems to have their own take on this.  Someone else said it would
run ok from the hard drive.

Daniel, you cannot use the dvd directley from you harddisk, ore you must
also have always the original ( copied) dvd into the drive. That's
because the craked file on your hdd let the arcobatreader on the disk do
the job. In that version the plugin is used and you don't need the
passwords.

So the best is to burn a dvd with the files on your Hdd and use the
program directley from the DVD
