[R129 SL] Soft top out of synch

I don't know about the battery, but have you moved it all the way 
through manually?  There are instructions in the rear of the owner's 
manual and there's a special tool in the tool kit.  That tool fits the 
locking mechanisms in the windshield and the trunk.  I was never able 
to get it to lock down the rear, but after having moved the locks 
through all positions several times, the computer finally had pity on 
me and decided to work.
