[R129 SL] ignition tumblers 1992 300sl

I had it done on my 1991 500 SL, and the mechanic told me it's a nightmare! 
But wasn't terribly expensive.  Also, to get replacement tumblers, they have 
to be ordered from the dealer and you have to bring your registration  auto 
VIN, and driver's license (at least here in California, you have to do 
that).
Apparently this is a problem with the SL's  - the keys wear out and won't 
turn the tumblers, but if you get the key stuck in there- it's very 
expensive to take apart!
