[R129 SL] Re: 18" Wheel upgrade

Just to add my 10 cents worth, you may or may not have noticed my car on  the 
start page of the site, its the Red SL with the staggered offset AMG wheels  
fitted. Having owned and driven this car for 3 years now I definitely wouldn't 
 go back to smaller wheels again,the difference in grip and poise is amazing. 
My  wheels are 10" wide on the rear and 8.5" wide on the front. I am 
currently  running Michelin Pilot Sport 295/30x18 on the rear and 255/35x18 on the 
front,  think I'll switch back to Pirelli when these are done.
 
Its a noisier drive but I wouldn't complain about lacking in comfort, there  
is hardly any difference. All I'll say to anyone who wants to upgrade is Go 
For  It!!
