[R129 SL] Hardtop compatibility

>From what I've read on other forums, ALL tops fit ALL 129 cars  between the 
years of 1990 and 2002-- albeit that those prior to 94 reportedly  require some 
"minor adjustments" . . . the specific nature of said "tweaking"  
unspecified-- but presumably involving the latching mechanisms.
 
I can tell you however, than my 92 and 99 appear to my eye to be  virtually 
identical.
