Greg,

I use Mobile 1 in my new vehicles. It is arguably the best oil
available. But, I used Mobile 1 in an older vehicle some years ago and
the rear main seal began to leak. I have not put synthetic in an older
vehicle since, including my '92 500SL, as much as I believe it is the
best and worth the price. I continue to use traditional oil in the SL
and change it every 3000 to 5000 miles. Once burned, twice learned, or
perhaps a little over cautious.

Bob,
San Diego

The subject has come up about "synthetic oil" and I was wondering with
all
of you out there if you really notice a difference and is it worth the
price?
