This may not help, but this weekend I installed an XM Satellite radio in my
SL.
The manual says that using the cassette adapter will yield the best sound
quality other tan direct inputs.
However, I use the built-in FM modulator and I=B9m very pleased with the
quality of the sound. The radio I=B9m using is the original Mercedes-Benz
radio that came with the car.
