[R129 SL] 1996 SL500 Seats Uncomfortable

I have a 1996 SL500 that I bought about 2 months ago and am experiencing =
back pain after driving it. I don't have any history of back problems =
and have been driving my 1992 300E for the last 6 years with no =
problems, but as soon as I spend any amount of time in my SL, the lower =
back hurts. Adjusting the seating position to sit more upright than I =
am used to helps somewhat, but the problem still persists. My question =
is: Has anyone else experienced this, and what did you do? I LOVE the =
SL otherwise, and I really want to keep it. I am even thinking of =
getting the seats re-cushioned and re-finished like the Napa Leather =
seats in the 99+ SL's. Any help/suggestions would be greatly =
appreciated!!
