I was of the impression that only the drivers side does that. That is =
how my '94 SL320 is and the mechanic told me what I passed on to you.

It's just a safety feature Cliff. It prevents a small child from =
lowering the window all the way and perhaps climbing out all because of =
the one touch of a button.

Hi All,

Can anybody tell me why my passenger side electric window does not =
automatically go down when the button is pressed down hard then =
released, I have to keep my finger pressed down on the switch otherwise =
the window stops going down. I have changed the electric window switch =
but it is still the same, any ideas!
