As far as I know, the suspension is the same no matter if you get your =
SL with 16's 17's or 18's....

    Cliff,
I went to AMG 18" monoblocks without any changes to the suspension, =
and know others have done likewise. Ride is definitely a bit rougher =
but still quiet and within acceptable (to me) limits. Handling is much =
improved, and more than worth the compromise. I have never been able to =
determine if MB itself made suspension changes on the "Sport" models =
that also included 18" AMGs. Does anyone know for certain?

      4) Should I up rate my suspension if I use 18" wheels?
