Dear Enthusiasts
I own a 1991 500SL and I seem to have several problems perhaps somebody
out there can help me,
My problems are the following.
1) For the second time in two months my doors will not lock with
the alarm remote key, neither will the door lock from drivers door
plunger which is the controlled by the vacuum actuator, the last time
this happened the problem was rectified after my battery went flat and
it was recharged, after that it started working fine, until now that is,
Any ideas?
2) All doors including the boot lock properly if the key is used
in the locks.
3) The driver's motorised seat has stopped working (slide
forwards/backwards) except for the back rest movement neither does the
memory positions or the head rest adjustments work.
4) Should I up rate my suspension if I use 18" wheels?
5) My Drivers heated seat does not seem to get hot enough,
especially the backside warmer part, the heater element in the backrest
part seems to get warmer
