[R129 SL] Hard top wont release

Becky,
Did you, by any chance, have the car running for awhile before
attempting to press the red release switch?  This is a safety
precaution - you have to press the release switch within a short time
after starting the engine or the button will simply flash on and off.
(I discovered this just last week when my '95 500SL wouldn't release,
and found this info buried somwhere in the manual.)
