Greetings.
I was fairly active on a Jaguar XJS list a few years ago, and was happy to find this one.
Now that I have a "REAL" automobile (grin), I will be just as anxious to contribute, and learn from others.
Case in point. Prior to acceptance of the vehicle, I did some research here, and elsewhere on early 90's
tendencies, so that I would know what to look for.
Sure enough, the first day I drove the car, it suddenly had most of the panel lights "light up".
After a few minutes, they went dark again. Knowing that this was probably voltage related, I asked the delivery
salesman to check the battery fluid levels. Sure enough, 2 cells were very thirsty, and the problem has not
reoccured since.
Thanks,
I probably would have run away from an otherwise exceptional find.
Looking forward to more jewels.
