It could also be the window regulator needing adjustment causing the
window to not extend fully enough to seal against the hardtop.

I have a 1992 500SL and the hardtop leaks at the front where the windows
meet the 
windshield. I assume it's the seals on the top but thought I'd check to 
see if it could be anything else (like something that just needs
adjusting 
instead). If so what can I expect to have the seals replaced?
