[R129 SL] Vinyl window repair

Becky,
	I tried repairing it on my 1992 500SL and it turned out to be a
mess. It wasn't worth the money, time, or effort that was put into it.
The best/cheapest thing to do is buy a replacement and "do it yourself".
If you think you can take apart the back section of the top yourself it
is not that hard to replace it. You can find a replacement for the
ENTIRE back section of the top (the part that contains the 3 plastic
windows) at www.performanceproducts.com. I think it runs somewhere
around 350 or something like that. And it comes with the scratch
resistant glass (which is also longer lasting and won't crack as
easily). It is not that hard to replace the top, but it takes some time
and patience.
