 I don't think you're doing anything wrong - -it's just been extremely quiet - -a mixed blessing I suppose. Your recent "import" sounds great! We have a 300SL and although it certainly lacks the power of the 8's and 12's, we find it ample for in-town use and enjoy the lighter, more nimble feel.
  For the unfortunate gentleman that lost his 560SEC to a crash- there's a burgundy coupe in TX on "traderonline.com" and a black coupe listed in "hemmings.com".
