Grey market car. They were never officially imported into the United
States by MBUSA. They were available in other markets though. Nice

I recently bought what the title says was a 1986 Mercedes 500 SL.
The Mercedes logo on the trunk indeed says 500 SL.. it is a
convertible.. I cannot find info on any web site referencing a 1986
Mercedes 500 SL. Why can't I find a listing for 1986 500 SL?
Can anyone help?
