[R129 SL] SL55

Are you talking about the new R230 SL55 with 469hp and 516 lb/ft of
torque?  They're sold out for the entire 2003/2004 production run.

AMG DID make the SL55 in the R129 body style (without the supercharger
of course) rated at 349hp.  It was never imported to the U.S. by MBUSA.
Also, the SL60 and 7.3L V12 of the SL73 were available directly from
MB-AMG dealers in Europe.

I took a ride in a friend's SL55.  Wow what a car!  I know these AMG
cars are rare, but I thought the list might know if one is for sale.
