Those fake xenon bulbs are crappy.  Light output is typically diminshed
compared to factory bulbs.

I purchased a set of those "xenon" blue/white lamps from a seller on
e-bay and managed to put them in without much diffuclty - although they
were about thirty bucks, I'm not sure that there was an appreciable
difference in light output - interesting color maybe, but not a lot more
light . . .just FYI
