I went to the LF conference in Springfield, Massachusetts this past weekend.

So many people of similar interests to talk to,
so many good photographs to view,
so much to learn and observe.

Two to three simultaneous sessions at any one time... it was sometimes
difficult to decide which one to attend.

I think that Steve Simmons of View Camera Magazine, together with Bruce
Barlow, Ted Harris, Kerry Thalman, Michael Mutmansky and so many others
who organized and presented at this conference did a great job.

While there I bought, (charged it really) a long desired Schneider
Symmar 210mm lens with a 1/2 meter image circle for my 11x14. I tried
it on the camera, just looking through it since it's very wet and gloomy
here, and it has a wider angle of view than the 19mm on my Leica R8.
It's a brute though, it weighs over 6 pounds.
