I had two Land Rovers (long wheel base) - one made in 1967, the other 1965=

(short wheel base). The LWB was a great vehicle for photography. That is,=20
for travelling to locations, sleeping in, and brewing tea on an old gas=20
stove, rather than taking photos of it. Both went to good homes.

8 miles to the gallon round town was just too thirsty given that petrol is=
=20
approaching =A35 a gallon here (that's about $8US).
