It's true that payment will generally have to be by direct bank transfer - or
cash. But the "antiquated view of financial transactions" i sfound in the
German banking system, not the people. Credit cards are very expensive ,
especially for the sellers (shops). So they are virtually useless in Germany -
so nobody has one. No credit card = no paypal.

I've bought most of my equipment that way, with no problems so far.

>Ole,
>I'm not particularly interested in these, but to anyone in the UK or USA who
is, be warned. Most German sellers seem to have an antiquated view of
financial transactions. I've had to arrange direct bank transfers in the past
which take an age to complete - my bank tells me its the german banking system
that holds things up. Why they wont take credit card payments or paypal is
beyond me.
