Quite true. Over the past thirty years I probably had half a dozen Linhofs
5x4 and 2x3, in fact more.  They are certainly well built but have
limitations. One was a Technika 70 with built in meter, CRF, multi
viewfinder but it was heavy so replaced it with a Technika V (?) which was
the same camera without the meter/crf etc so lighter. A friend machined down
a 65mm helical focussing mount to work with a 47mm as well as 65mm  (I have
it still).  They do turn up unpredictably but I don't want one. I just
bought a S.Rollex RFB on Ebay but only to do up and sell eventually. Philip
